Please read carefully. These Terms include a binding arbitration clause (Section 22), a class action waiver (Section 22.3), an age requirement of 16+ (Section 2), offline meetup risk acknowledgments (Section 6), limitations on liability (Sections 19–20), and strict child-safety rules (Section 13). By using Skallor, you agree to these Terms in full.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Skallor ("we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Skallor mobile application and related features and services (collectively, the "Service"). Skallor is a lightweight social meetup platform where you can create or join offline activities, chat to confirm intent, lock time and place, then meet up. By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
01
Acceptance of Terms
1.1 — Binding Agreement

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using any part of the Service, you enter into a legally binding contract with Skallor effective as of the date of your first access.

1.2 — Incorporated Documents

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies we publish within the Service. In any conflict, these Terms prevail unless a supplementary policy expressly governs a specific subject.

1.3 — Language

These Terms are drafted in English, which is the controlling language. Any translation is for convenience only.

02
Eligibility & Registration
2.1 — Age Requirement

The Service is available exclusively to individuals who are 16 years of age or older. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We may terminate any account where we have reasonable grounds to believe the holder is under 16.

2.2 — Accurate Registration

You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete registration information. Providing false information to circumvent age or safety restrictions is a material breach and grounds for permanent termination.

2.3 — One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain only one active Skallor account. Creating duplicate accounts to evade bans or enforcement is prohibited.

2.4 — Apple Sign-In

You may register via Apple Sign-In. By doing so, you authorize Skallor to receive limited profile information as permitted by your consent settings, subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.

2.5 — Geographic Availability

The Service may not be available or fully functional in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with local law.

03
Age Range Verification
3.1 — Verification Requirement

Where supported, you must share your age range via Apple Declared Age Range / Age Signals (or equivalent) to unlock social features. See Privacy Policy Section 3 for details.

3.2 — Not an Identity Check
Age-range verification confirms eligibility via platform signals only. It does not verify legal name or identity against government records.
3.3 — Declining to Share

If you decline to share your age range, social features requiring the age gate may remain unavailable until you enable sharing in system settings and re-request in the app.

3.4 — Circumvention Prohibited

Attempting to falsify age signals, use another person's account, or otherwise circumvent age gates is strictly prohibited and grounds for termination.

04
Account Security
4.1 — Credential Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and Apple ID access. Skallor will never request your password through any communication channel.

4.2 — Unauthorized Use

Notify us promptly at service@skallor.co if you suspect unauthorized use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skallor is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use prior to your notification.

4.3 — Account Responsibility

You are fully responsible for all activity through your account, including activities created, chats sent, applications, and purchases.

05

Activities & Offline Meetups
6.1 — Your Responsibility

As an organizer or participant, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of activity details and for your conduct before, during, and after any offline meetup.

6.2 — Offline Risk Acknowledgment
Skallor does not supervise offline meetups. Meeting strangers involves inherent risk. Prefer public places, tell a friend, use in-app chat for coordination, and leave if you feel unsafe. Skallor is not responsible for offline interactions between users.
6.3 — No Dangerous or Illegal Activities

You may not create or join activities that involve illegal conduct, dangerous stunts, substance abuse promotion, sexual solicitation, or any activity posing serious risk of harm.

6.4 — Confirmations & No-Shows

When you confirm attendance, you agree to show up as stated or cancel promptly. Repeated no-shows may result in reputation penalties and feature restrictions.

Organizers may approve/reject applications, remove members for cause, close recruitment, or cancel activities subject to these Terms and Community Guidelines. Abuse of organizer tools is prohibited.

07
Messaging
7.1 — Lawful Use

Chats must comply with Community Standards. Harassment, threats, spam, sexual solicitation, and sharing others' private information without consent are prohibited.

7.2 — No Guarantee of Delivery

We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, read, or retained indefinitely.

7.3 — Reporting

You may report abusive chats or users via in-app Report. False or malicious reports may result in enforcement against the reporting account.

08
Reviews & Reputation
8.1 — Honest Reviews

Reviews must be based on genuine meetup experience. Fake, retaliatory, or defamatory reviews are prohibited.

8.2 — Reputation Signals

Completion rates, reviews, and no-show records may affect how your profile is presented and whether certain features remain available.

09
Virtual Coins & Purchases
9.1 — Payment Processing

All in-app purchases are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play. Skallor does not store payment card details.

9.2 — Virtual Coins

Coins have no cash value outside the Service, are non-transferable between accounts, and may not be redeemed for cash except where expressly offered under separate terms.

9.3 — No Refund Obligations

Except as required by applicable law or app store policies, coin purchases are final. Refund requests must be directed to the relevant app store.

9.4 — Feature Spends

Publishing or unlocking certain features may consume coins. Spent coins are non-refundable except where required by law.

10
User-Generated Content
10.1 — Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you publish, including activities, photos, chats, and reviews. You represent that you have all necessary rights and that content complies with these Terms and law.

10.2 — License Grant

By publishing UGC, you grant Skallor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content within the Service and in connection with promoting Skallor, subject to visibility settings. You retain ownership of your original content.

10.3 — No Endorsement

Publication of UGC does not constitute our endorsement or verification of that content or of any user.

10.4 — Content Deletion

You may delete eligible content subject to product capabilities. Deleted content is removed from public view within 48 hours, production servers within 30 days, and backups within 90 days, except for safety or legal holds.

11

Skallor is built for people to find activity partners with clear intent. Engage with respect, honesty, and consideration for others' safety and time.

11.2 — No Harassment or Abuse

11.3 — No Hate Speech

Content promoting hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.

11.4 — No Sexually Explicit Content or Solicitation

Skallor is an activity meetup platform, not a dating or adult content platform. Sexually explicit content and sexual solicitation are prohibited in activities, chats, and profiles.

11.5 — No Deceptive Impersonation

You may not impersonate any person, brand, or Skallor representative.

All rights in the Service — including the Skallor name, logo, design, software, and proprietary technology — are owned by or licensed to Skallor.

12.2 — Your UGC

You retain ownership of your original UGC, subject to the license in Section 10.2.

12.3 — Feedback

If you submit feedback about the Service, Skallor may use it freely without obligation. You assign to Skallor all intellectual property rights in such feedback to the extent assignable.

12.4 — Copyright Notices

Skallor is for users 16+. Confirmed underage accounts are permanently terminated with associated data deleted as required.

13.2 — Parental Notification

Parents/guardians who believe a minor under 16 has an account should contact service@skallor.co immediately.

13.3 — Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Zero tolerance — absolute and without exception. Skallor prohibits any content, conduct, or activity that constitutes, facilitates, promotes, or glorifies CSAE, including CSAM; grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of individuals under 18; and any content depicting, targeting, or endangering persons under 18 — including in chats or activity posts.

Upon confirmed detection or credible report: content is permanently removed; the account is permanently terminated and identifiers blocked; a mandatory report is filed with NCMEC CyberTipline or the legally required equivalent; and we cooperate with law enforcement. CSAE terminations carry no right of appeal.

Report via in-app Report or email service@skallor.co with subject "CSAE Report."
14
License to Use the Service

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Skallor.

  • Circumvent age-range gates or create underage accounts

17.2 — User Reporting

Use in-app Report for content or users that appear to violate these Terms.

17.3 — Enforcement Actions

17.4 — Appeals

For non-CSAE enforcement, email service@skallor.co with subject "Enforcement Appeal." CSAE terminations have no appeal.

18
Termination & Suspension
18.1 — Your Right to Terminate

You may delete your account via Settings > Delete Account or by emailing service@skallor.co. If you do not log in within 14 days after requesting deletion, your information will be cleared. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of coins except as required by law.

18.2 — Our Right to Terminate or Suspend

We may suspend or permanently terminate access at any time, with or without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in unlawful activity, misuse features, or pose a risk to safety or integrity.

18.3 — Effect of Termination

Upon termination, access ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature survive continue to apply, including Sections 9, 10.2, 12, 16, 19, 20, 21, and 22.

19
Disclaimers of Warranty
19.1 — As-Is Basis

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKALLOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

19.2 — No Warranty on Users or Meetups

SKALLOR DOES NOT WARRANT THE IDENTITY, INTENTIONS, PUNCTUALITY, OR CONDUCT OF ANY USER, NOR THE SAFETY OR OUTCOME OF ANY OFFLINE MEETUP.

Limitation of Liability
20.1 — Exclusion of Consequential Damages

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SKALLOR OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOST COINS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY HARM ARISING FROM OFFLINE MEETUPS OR RELIANCE ON USER CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

20.2 — Aggregate Liability Cap

Skallor's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid directly to Skallor (excluding amounts paid to Apple or Google) in the twelve months preceding the claim; or (b) USD $50. Where law does not permit certain caps, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

20.3 — Essential Basis

These limitations reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and form an essential element of the agreement. Skallor would not offer the Service on the same terms without them.

21
Indemnification
21.1 — Your Obligations

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Skallor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your offline meetups and interactions; (d) your breach of these Terms; (e) your violation of law; (f) your infringement of third-party rights; or (g) harm you cause to other users.

21.2 — Control Rights

Skallor may assume exclusive control of any matter subject to your indemnification. You must cooperate fully and may not settle any claim imposing obligations on Skallor without prior written consent.

22
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Before formal proceedings, contact service@skallor.co describing the dispute and relief sought. We will respond in good faith within 30 days. If unresolved within 60 days, either party may proceed.

22.2 — Binding Individual Arbitration

Except for small claims matters and where prohibited by law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitral institution in the jurisdiction of Skallor's principal place of business. The arbitrator's decision is final.

22.3 — Class Action Waiver

YOU AND SKALLOR EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. Claims must be brought individually. If this waiver is unenforceable for a claim, Section 22.2 shall not apply to that claim.

22.4 — Jurisdictional Exceptions
